The Evangelical Orthodox Church in Kenya began its work in 2015 and now consists of five parishes: St. Jacob Nyakach parish, Orongo Parish, Kisii Parish, Sigomere Parish and Masogo Parish. They are served by 10 clergy who are coordinated by fr. Erick Omondi under the temporary oversight of Bp. Jacinto Kibuuka. The parishes are in rural settings and the churches are reaching out to and serving the vulnerable as they are able and are finding resources to do so. They are working hard to coordinate efforts and hopefully establish a central office to do so more efficiently.
